Association of Energy Engineers CEA (Certified Energy Auditor) Certification
Wisdom & Associates, Inc. is proud to offer AEE CEA training and testing for individuals that meet AEE eligibility requirements for this Certified Energy Auditor certification. Upon completion of the course an test will be administered. Upon successful completion of the course and the exam an individual meeting eligibility requirements will gain the AEE CEA certification for use in commercial energy audits. The CEA certification is identifies professionals as having the required knowledge and experience needed to perform commercial energy audits.
CEA Eligibility Requirements
The candidate for CEA certification must have (also see below for CEA in Training Requirements):
A four-year degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or architecture, or be a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.). In addition, the applicant must have at least three years of verifiable experience in energy auditing, energy management, facility management, or experience related to energy management;
- OR -
A four-year non-engineering degree with at least four years of verifiable experience in energy auditing, energy management, facility management, or experience related to energy management;
- OR -
A two-year technical degree with at least five years of verifiable experience in energy auditing, energy management, facility management, or experience related to energy management;
- OR -
Ten years of verifiable experience in energy auditing, energy management, facility management, or experience related to energy management;
- OR -
The current status of Certified Energy Manager (CEM®).

CLASS DATES & REGISTRATION
This training is three full days of training and is $1450.00. Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

EXAM DATES & REGISTRATION
This exam is four hours, and scheduled in the morning from 8 am to noon it costs $400.00. Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
