Basics of Building Science

Course Description
Each house works as a system. The dynamics between heat, air, and moisture each play a role in how that system is works. This class offers information on how it works as a system, the management of heat, air, and moisture, and how to balance the three components for maximum energy savings, durability of the home, and comfort for it's occupants. This class will also offer demonstrations and real life examples when the house is out of balance, including stack effect, relative humidity, pressure differentials, and air movement.

2 Hours

The cost of this class for a continuing education credit certificate is $25.
Payment is due at the time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCar, American Express and Discover.
If a course is full you will be alerted prior to payment that the class is full and if you continue you will be placed on a standby list. If there is a cancellation in the class prior to the start of the class date we take the next person on the standby list. If you register for a class and you are denied entry due to availability of seating we will refund your registration deposit in full at any time, no later than the day of class.
