Utility Analysis & Benchmarking - AHFC Sponsored

Course Description
Learn how to analyze utility bills and consumption patterns to identify areas of potential savings in commercial buildings, and benchmarking that building against a national standard. All fuel sources are looked at to find patterns and trends that may be seasonal, production or occupant related. Emphasis will be placed on gathering information and reading utility statements as well as the analysis of the data. This course includes a full analysis of a sample commercial structure. Every student needs to bring a laptop computer with Microsoft Excel version 2000 or later installed.


Prerequisites
This course does not have any prerequisites, however a background in basic building science is highly recommended.

1 Day - 8 Hours

Payment
This course, sponsored by AHFC and is free. To guarantee your seat in the class you must  put a $250 deposit down. Upon attendance of the class your deposit will be refunded. If you fail to attend and do not provide written proof of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the start of the class you will forfeit your deposit to AHFC.

If a course is full you will be alerted prior to payment that the class is full and if you continue you will be placed on a standby list. If there is a cancellation in the class prior to the start of the class date we take the next person on the standby list. If you register for a class and you are denied entry due to availability of seating we will refund your registration deposit in full at any time, no later than the day of class.
