ICF Wall Requirements- AHFC Sponsored

Course Description
This class covers the requirements of insulated concrete form walls (ICF) from the 2006 International Residential Code, Chapter 6.  The 2006 IRC has added pages of new material covering the requirements of ICF walls, their reinforcement, how to construct openings and other considerations when building an ICF wall above grade.  ICF wall types covered are flat, screen grid and waffle grid.  This class does not cover the code requirements of ICF walls built below grade.

Prerequisites: This class has prerequisites of Basic Blower Door.

Length of Class
1/2 Day - 4 Hours

This course, sponsored by AHFC and is free. To guarantee your seat in the class you must  put a $125 deposit down. Upon attendance of the class your deposit will be refunded. If you fail to attend and do not provide written proof of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the start of the class you will forfeit your deposit to AHFC.

If a course is full you will be alerted prior to payment that the class is full and if you continue you will be placed on a standby list. If there is a cancellation in the class prior to the start of the class date we take the next person on the standby list. If you register for a class and you are denied entry due to availability of seating we will refund your registration deposit in full at any time, no later than the day of class.
