Course Description
This course covers lighting efficiency, types of lighting, and average rated life of different types of lighting in residential settings. The course also covers factors affecting the lighting of buildings including light metering, light loss factors, and control evaluation. Also covered in this course is improving electrical efficiency of large household appliances, fans, and motors, as well as optimizing efficiency in modern modulating/condensing boiler systems.


Prerequisites
This course does not have any prerequisites, however a background in basic building science is highly recommended.

The cost of this class is $475.
