Residential Endorsement Contractors – Residential Endorsement Contractor license holders, your license renewal is due December 31, 2012. This means you will need to obtain 16 hours of continuing education prior to the end of this year to keep your license current. Any classes you have taken between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012 will count towards this license renewal period. Mechanical Administrators – Mechanical Administrator occupational licensing just came due on December 31, 2011. If you just renewed your professional occupational license you now have until December 31, 2013 to fulfill your continuing education credit requirements. This means any classes you take between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013 will count towards this current renewal period. You may need up to 16 hours of continuing education credit in both plumbing and mechanical credit depending on your license type. Journeyman Plumbers – Journeyman Plumbers,all of the classes listed below are approved for your continuing education in either code or industry credit. Anyone needing to renew a Journeyman Plumber license AFTER January 1, 2013 will need to have 16 hours of continuing education credit. Continuing education credits required are a minimum of 8 hours code credit (or also referred to as UPC credit) and a maximum of 8 hours industry related credit. Classes may be presented for license renwal for 2 years from the completion date of the class. Anyone renewing between now and the end of 2012 will not be required to present continuing education credits to renew their license. Home Inspectors - Home Inspectors, your professional occupational license just came due on June 30, 2012. If you just renewed your license, you are now in a new renewal period and prior to June 30, 2014 you will need to show 16 hours of continuing education.
